- a clear, very soft, pectin-based jelly used in Taiwanese, Singaporean, and Malaysian desserts. It is made from the awkeotsang creeping fig (Ficus pumila var. awkeotsang), a plant found in Taiwan and other areas of East Asia with a similar climate and latitude.
- a sweet dessert consisting of pieces of aiyu jelly in a syrup of shaved ice and lime, sometimes also flavoured with other ingredients such as honey or fruit.
