- a Sarawakian dish of egg noodles tossed in lard or shallot oil, usually topped with minced pork, sliced char siew, fried shallots, garlic, white pepper, fish and soya sauce, served with a bowl of soup on the side. It often includes other ingredients depending on who is preparing the dish, and may also be made in a halal version. It is said to derive from a similar Hakka noodle dish known as yam mian.
