But there's something Tze Wei wouldn't touch—mee hoon kueh, a Hokkien dish of small dough pieces cooked in ikan bilis soup. I used to detest mee hoon kueh but when I was pregnant with Yen Nee, I developed a craving for it. That could explain why she likes to eat this soupy concoction.
