  1. a Teochew fried oyster omelette, made with eggs, oysters, and a batter of mixed flours and starches, such as all-purpose flour, tapioca starch, rice flour, potato starch, etc. It is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and is usually topped with white pepper, chopped spring onions, and a sour chilli.
