- a Cantonese-style open-faced steamed pork dumpling, originating from a similar dish from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. It consists of a filling of ground pork (sometimes mixed with other ingredients such as prawn, fish, and mushroom), and is typically wrapped with a characteristic yellow skin and topped with something bright orange such as a drop of crab roe or small cube of carrot. It is a popular dim sum dish.
