- a light blouse traditionally worn by women in the Malay and Peranakan communities, usually well-decorated with embroidery or sequins and made of a lightweight or sheer fabric. It was held together with buttons or special ornate pins known as kerosang, and traditionally worn together with a sarong to form an outfit known as the sarong kebaya.
