  1. a small snack dumpling made from glutinous rice (or a dough of glutinous rice flour) stuffed with grated coconut and gula melaka, usually wrapped using a piece of banana leaf into a tetrahedron or square pyramid. The rice may come in various colours, such as green (from pandan), blue (from the butterfly pea flower), or black to dark purple (from using black glutinous rice).
  2. She improvised the recipes, churned out tray after tray of cakes such as kueh lapis ... kueh koci ... and kaya ... and sold them for 30 to 50 cents each. For kueh koci, she used tapioca flour instead of rice flour.
