- a Hokkien and Teochew dish of ground pork and/or other meats, five spice powder, and other ingredients rolled in beancurd skin (tau kee) and deep-fried. Each roll is usually cut transversely into several smaller round pieces. It may be served as a dish on its own with chilli and a sweet sauce, or used as a topping or part of another dish.
Generations of regulars return for classic dishes such as ngoh hiang, braised pork belly and sambal crab.
